The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Hands-On Training covers theoretical lessons and practical demonstrations on CPR and first aid. Our instructors will teach you how to use an AED machine so that you can perform CPR on patients who experience sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

What To Expect From Your Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Session

You can expect your Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Skills Session to feature a combination of in-person and online training. Each face-to-face class will be facilitated by our fully certified FA/CPR/AED instructors. The online sessions will showcase educational videos and virtual simulations.

Requirements To Take This AHA Heartsaver Skills Session Training Class

You are not required to have prior medical experience to take the AHA Heartsaver Skills Session Training Class. This course is designed for persons with little to zero medical background who need to meet job requirements. It is also open to everybody interested in offering emergency assistance to patients.

Heartsaver Hands-On Course Tests & Certificates

Students like you will be tested on your proficiency in Adult CPR, Infant CPR, and First Aid, based on the modules that you completed during the training. You will receive a Heartsaver CPR certification after you complete the course.

FAQs

Does a Heartsaver Hands-on Class Have a Written Test?

No. You will be required to take a written test online before you attend the Heartsaver Hands-on Class. You will no longer need to take a written exam during the hands-on class itself.

Is Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED the Same as BLS?

No. The BLS Provider course is the advanced version of CPR training. It is suitable for licensed healthcare professionals and students who are enrolled in medical courses. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Training is appropriate for people who do not have a medical license.

How Long Is Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Good For?

The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Certification is valid for two years up to the end of the month when the course completion card is issued to you.
